Architectural expanded metal is designed for façade infill panels, structural elements and building openings of sports halls, stadiums, parking garages and residential buildings. Various mesh shapes allow different levels of transparency and create a distinctive architectural feature. The material also serves a protective function and is manufactured in accordance with the DIN 791 standard.
Applications
Construction and architectural projects.
Materials
Steel, aluminium, Corten steel.
These mesh types are mainly produced to order, therefore dimensions, quantities and pricing need to be discussed with our specialists.
For smaller and private projects, selected types are also available from stock, usually in two or three different formats.
Custom manufacturing
Your specific requirements are not a limitation for us. After consultation, we can manufacture expanded metal tailored precisely to your project needs.
Fixing
Fixing and anchoring expanded metal to façades is always designed individually according to the type of structure and the desired visual result. Expanded metal can be installed using frames, fixing rails or anchoring systems that ensure strength and uniform tension of the sheet. The correct fixing method influences not only the appearance of the façade but also its durability and long-term performance.
Design and mesh shapes
We offer a wide range of mesh types – from diamond and square to hexagonal, including decorative variants. By selecting the mesh shape, size and orientation, it is possible to control the level of transparency, shading and the overall visual effect of the façade.
Surface finishes
Expanded metal can be treated with hot-dip galvanising, powder coating or anodising, increasing its resistance to weather conditions and giving it an elegant appearance. Colour finishes allow the façade to be coordinated with surrounding architecture or corporate identity.
Technical delivery conditions
Standard production positions are primarily intended for technical applications. The technical delivery conditions are based on our experience in supplying perforated materials.
